LIVE MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT FOR EVENTS
Event planners have hired me to provide live musical entertainment for
events at venues throughout the six New England states. I accept
entertainment bookings for anniversary parties, banquets, birthday parties,
Christmas parties, clubs, coffee shops, community events, concerts,
conventions, corporate functions, country clubs, cruise ships, festivals,
fund raisers, funerals, grand openings, hotels, house concerts, private
parties, receptions, resorts, restaurants, reunions, showers, ski lodges,
special events, studio sessions, weddings, wedding ceremonies, wedding
cocktail hours and wedding receptions - anywhere live musical
entertainment is wanted. Audience size at these events has ranged from a
half dozen to over a thousand. Most of the time event planners ask me to
perform live music in the background. Occasionally, my role is to provide
musical entertainment which is more 'front and center'. I am perfectly
comfortable in either setting.
PRIVATE PARTIES
Many of my bookings are to provide live musical entertainment for private
parties. These parties include anniversaries, birthday parties,
Christmas/holiday parties and other special events. This type of party is
often held in private homes, but frequently in restaurants or function halls.
Live music as entertainment adds a special, intimate ambiance to any
event. If you are not planning on dancing, or if you do not want your party
to be overpowered by a band or DJ, the soft sound of an acoustic guitar in
the background may be just the entertainment you are looking for.
CORPORATE EVENTS
Corporate events are another frequent type of booking. Corporate
functions include grand openings, sales/training meetings, conventions,
banquets, retirement parties, fund raisers or holiday parties. Live music on
acoustic guitar as entertainment helps to create an atmosphere which is
both “classy” and laid back. I perform at dozens of corporate functions
every year and my music has always gone over very well.
