Event Planning In New England
As part of event planning people have hired me to provide musical
entertainment for clients at venues throughout the six New England
states. Audience size has ranged from a half dozen to several
hundred. This page will provide an overview for the types of functions
that event planners most frequently ask me to provide live music for.
Musical Entertainment For Corporate Functions / Events
Corporate functions are one of my most frequent types of bookings.
These events might be a grand opening, sales/training meeting,
retirement party, fund raiser or a holiday party. Live performance on
acoustic guitar helps to create an atmosphere which is both “classy”
and laid back. Repertoire for corporate functions might be jazz,
classical or a mix. I perform at dozens of these events every year and
my music has always gone over very well.
Music For Private Party - Birthday - Anniversary
Private parties are often held in restaurants or function halls, but even
more frequently they are held in homes. The compact space
requirements of a solo guitarist are a big advantage in a home
setting. An out-of-the-way corner or top of a stairway is all the space
needed.
Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music
Each year I receive dozens of bookings as a wedding ceremony and
reception musician. For ceremonies, the classical guitar provides an
ambiance very similar to the harp. My experience performing at
hundreds of weddings and wedding receptions enables me to offer
qualified assistance in choosing appropriate music.
